  • The annual and diurnal behaviours of the occurrence of different types of fog and visibility as well as the statistical distribution of wind during fog events on the Tyrrhenian Coast at the airport of Fiumicino (Rome) for different seasons were determined for years from 1994 to 2004. The analysis of sodar observations made showed that the upper flow can be responsible for the transportation of humid air to the land. (literal)
