Abstract

First report of the occurrence of CVYV in Portugal on fifteen of 52 field samples. CVYV was found in 4 cucurbitaceous species: melon, watermelon, cucumber and squash. Diagnosis was performed by RT-PCR, sequencing of amplified fragment, B. Tabaci transmission and mechanical inoculation on test plants. (literal)
