Abstract
  • We report on the preparation of both 2,5-di-(9,9-dimethylfluoren-2-yl)-3,4-dihexyl-thiophene-1,1- dioxide and the related polymer with longer alkyl substituents at 9 fluorene position. The optical, structura,l and morphological characterisations of crystl and films showing noticeable EL properties are presented Light emitting diodes (LED) show for the first time a good external efficiencyd external efficiency ( more than 0,1%.) for polymer containing S-S-dioxide groups (literal)
