- Abstract
- Some authors found that the S18Y polymorphism in exon 3 of UCH-L1 gene is associated with a low risk of PD. We investigated 169 PD cases and 165 control subjects to verify this association in our population.
There was no difference either in S18Y genotype or in allele frequencies between cases and controls. (literal)
