  • A novel,straightforward and high yielding synthesis of enantiomerically pure 2,6-disubstituted morpholines has been developed through the regioselective cyclization of diols. Cyclization precursors have been obtained by the ring opening of commercially available chiral epoxides under solid–liquid phase transfer catalysis conditions (SL-PTC). (literal)
