Abstract
  • The restoration and consolidation work concerning the church of St Nicholas of the English \"Bedestan\" may be schematically subdivided into three work macrophases consisting in: 1.2. LIST OF WORK MACROPHASES Macrophase 1: Macrophase 2: Macrophase 3: SECURITY MEASURES REGARDING THE STRUCTURE CONSOLIDATION OF THE FOUNDATIONS CONSOLIDATION OF THE ELEVATED STRUCTURE Each macrophase entails a series of phases and subphases, as described below, which must be performed in the chronological order specified, although some changes may be introduced in response to specific needs possibly expressed by the contracting firm on the basis of enhancing indications suggested by the actual situation. The work of consolidation must be seen as an open project sensitive to changes in the conditions and to more detailed knowledge that normally becomes available as the site is opened. (literal)
