- Abstract
- Terahertz technology has been applied to the analysis of artworks since 2006, and experiments performed around the world have confirmed that the THz time domain imaging technique can contribute to the non-invasive investigation of the inner structure of paintings. This paper describes the potential for, and the limitations of, applying THz technology to the heritage conservation field. (literal)
