Descrizione sintetica

• SMEuFire is a R&D and technology transfer oriented project aiming to introduce holistic design of forest fuel supply chains based on proven Scandinavian technology. In the SMEuFire project places where small (500 kW - 3MW) heating plants and fuel chip supply chains can be developed are located and demonstrated together with the project partners. The aim is to develop a holistic planning process where forest fuel availability, harvesting, comminution and transportation as well as combustion are investigated. (literal)
