- Abstract
- This study focuses on the relation among formal learning, informal learning and Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) and provides some provisional considerations on this subject based on the results of a survey addressed to a community consisting of the students of a large Italian lower secondary school, their teachers and their parents.
The study was originated by the need for dealing adequately with some episodes of cyberbullying happened among students. Although this problem had arisen outside the school context and was reported by the parents, the headmaster and the teachers agreed on the point that the school should be concerned about it. The study shows that schools can restrain and control the problem of cyberbullying by addressing it within a wider framework of actions concerning media literacy . (literal)
