  • This article presents an analysis on the presence of women in the political institutions and on the meaning of legal rules on women’s bodies, with particular reference to sexual and procreative activity. The critical issues of gender justice are especially centred on women’s bodies, because the construction of the women’s bodies in the collective imagery is a battleground and an extremely important demarcation line within the essential identity of cultures.
