  • The communication reports on the crystallization processes and the structure characterization of PP/POSS composites obtained by reactive blending of maleic anhydride grafted PP (PP-g-MA) and POSS functionalized with amino groups. The influence of melt processing conditions and POSS grafting reaction on the morphological characteristics, the crystallization and degradation behaviour of the composites was investigated, with the aim of studying the effect of the dispersed nanoparticles on the phase behaviour and the nucleation and growth of polymer crystals.
