Abstract
  • The photoionisation of the Ar 2p has been studied by Auger electron-photoelectron coincidence experiments using both linearly and circularly polarised radiation. The results show that the Ar 2p photoionisation can be described in LS coupling and that these coincidence experiments allow to obtain the basic quantities that define the photoionisation process.
