  • To try to produce scaffolds within which a tissue could grow (e.g. cartilage with chondrocytes) and be fed according to the models suggested by nature, a study was carried out inspired to the ways in which the nature itself engineers its structures. The possible reference model are the ones through which Nature has organized structures suitable to allow a controlled flux of useful liquid and gas or produced by a cellular metabolism. (literal)
