Abstract
  • An investigation aimed at the assessment of the risk related to the vibration produced by hand-held power tools has been undertaken in different industrial premises belonging to Electrolux Group. All the measurements have been stored in a database in order to easily manage that great amount of data. Therefore, it is possible to recall each measurement together with the associated vibration data, pictures, video recordings and technical specifications about the specimen under test. Although assembling processes do not usually involve risks in terms of vibration exposure, acceleration measurement shows up anomalities requiring the implementation of measures aimed at risk reduction.
