- This paper describes the procedure which has been developed to collect and
measure particle-associated PAH emitted by heavy duty diesel buses. That
methodology has been evaluated for collection efficiency and
repeatability limits evaluation according to the ISO 5725 standard.
The investigation aimed at determining the reliability of regulated and
unregulated heavy duty diesel emission measurements.has been funded and
coordinated by ENEA on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment. The
current emissions legislation for heavy duty engines, requires emission
measurement on an engine test bed.
