Abstract
  • This study examines the role played by Information Communication Technologies as cognitive tools in the classroom. We refer to the theoretical context considering creativity not only as the skill of fantasy and imagination but also as an educational process. In particular, in the experiences described, we highlight how creative thinking can be stimulated through the use of ICT integrated into the curricular activities. The methodology carried out during the three years of the project is based on scaffolding and leads students to increase their diverging thinking through increasingly complex activities of creative writing, use of multimedia systems and online resources, and finally the design and development of a hypertext.
