Abstract
  • The transport properties of ionic liquid polymer gel membranes based on poly(vinylidene fluoride-cohexafluoropropylene) (p(VDF-HFP)) were studied. The polymeric gel membranes contained from 20 wt% to 80 wt% of an ionic liquid in p(VDF-HFP). The investigated imidazolium cation based ionic liquids were 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([EMIM][TFSI]) and 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([HdMIM][TFSI]).
