  • The preparation and the photophysical behaviour of novel julolidine derivatives designed for displaying excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) are reported. These dyes exhibit panchromatic photoluminescence covering the whole visible spectral range, both in organic solvents and in the solid state. (literal)
