- Abstract
- This Deliverable provides details on the activates related to the Virtual Visualization Service (VVS)
facility. The VVS acts as an e-science infrastructure for the storage, sharing and retrieval of shape data
and related shape processing software. The VVS are provided by the Digital Shape Workbench
(DSW), a platform for sharing knowledge about 3D digital shapes and their applications, originally
developed within the AIM@SHAPE project.
The Deliverable covers the activities related to the changes to the DSW to meet the requirements
within the VISIONAIR Consortium, the use of the DSW to formalize and store the information related to
the activities, the know-how and the tools available within the VISIONAIR Consortium. (literal)
