Abstract
  • We report some experimental results of delay time in electromagnetic propagation in the presence of a lossy dielectric medium. The results were performed in the range of microwaves and showed a shortening of the delay time when the surface of the medium is situated very close to the wave path. A theoretical model dealing with surface waves of Zenneck type was considered. (literal)
