  • In thispaperanextensionofDebye'smodelbyconsideringKluitenberg'stheoryondielectricrelaxation phenomenaisproposed.FollowingKluitenberg'sdielectrictheory,itissupposedthatthephenomen- ologicalcoefficientofthesecondderivativeofdifferentialequationgoverningthedielectricphenomena is notconstant.Inparticular,byidentifyingsomecoefficientsoftheKluitenbergdifferentialequationon dielectricrelaxationtothoseofDebye'sone,anexpressionforstorageandlossdielectricconstantsas the sumofDebye'srelationandafunctionwhichdependsonthefrequency o and theaforementioned coefficientcanbeobtained.Itsphysicalmeaningallowsustouseitforfittingexperimentaldata.
