• The preliminary scientific work carried out at CNR-ISAC in the first year has focused on existing validation data as no cruise data of coastal optical properties near the coast of Montenegro and in the waters influenced by the Bojana River is yet available for analysis. The validation effort has been concentrated on the waters influenced by the Po River outflow along the east coast of Italy and Chla was selected. (literal)
