  • In this paper we describe a new system to support students in acquiring cognitive strategies to control and monitor the comprehension of on line resources. After a short introduction presenting some studies concerning the application of metacognition in learning environments based on ICT, we illustrate the main features of Gym2Learn, a system developed at our Institute, within the framework of the CORFAD research project. Through the system, students can acquire cognitive strategies and an awareness of how to use them; then, using the features of the system, they can put into practice on the Web all the strategies acquired to improve their understanding of the educational contents. Abstract
  • In this paper we describe a new system to support students in acquiring cognitive strategies to control and monitor the comprehension of on line resources.
