  • HA/MGN scaffolds were prepared using a foaming technique already well experimented and optimized for hydroxyapatite scaffolds. The technique allows to obtain a multidimensional interconnected porosity, having satisfying characteristics for using the scaffolds as bone substitutes. At the same time magnetic properties are maintained up to higher temperature than pure magnetite scaffold thank to a protective action of the bioactive HA phase (literal)
